1/22/2010 EE 310 Electronic Circuit Design I Spring 2010 Assignment 2 Due: Friday, January 29, in class Rectifier Circuits Zener Diode Regulator Diode Waveform Shaping Circuits Multiple-diode Circuits This problem assignment covers rectifier circuits, the zener diode voltage regulator, and clipping and clamping circuits used for waveform shaping. When analyzing the waveshaping and multiple-diode circuits, we must first consider whether each individual diode is “ON” or “OFF”. Then we replace the diode by its appropriate linear circuit model and proceed with the analysis. Finally, it is necessary to confirm the validity of the state used for each diode. Reading Assignment (as specified in the Course Schedule) Sections 2.2 – 2.4 and 3.1 Problem Assignment Do the following problems and submit them for grading by the due date: Chapter 2—Problems 8, 15, 22 (a, b), 24 (c, d) 32 (a, b), 35, 36 (b), 41, 44 (a – d), 53 Note : Nominal values for device parameters, when needed, are provided at the front of the problem assignment. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
