Hector gets ready for success Today on the U.S. Navy base in Coronado California, during an awards ceremony, Petty officer Hector Sierra announced that this would be his final year in the military. After six well served years, Hector has obtained all the qualifications necessary to transition from the military to the business world. Hector states, “The military is what I was trained to do, business is what I worked hard to learn”. This statement truly paints a good picture of Hector’s work ethic and characteristics. In exactly 13 months, Hector will say good bye military, hello business world. Hector says, “The military has opened many doors for me, but I choose to get out because I think there are better opportunities out there for me”. Hector’s decision to transition out of the military was based on his goals and ambitions. He has always thought of becoming a business man due to the success it can bring.
