Work Team Concepts 2 Upon looking back on the discussion the group had, the concept to best illustrate would be that of group conformity. As a group and as individuals we had to think as a person we were not. We had to place ourselves into the position and ideals of the person described. For me, doing this meant to place all personal ideals on hold, bring to the front how this person would think, then bring my ideals to meld with the ones I felt were relevant to the situation. Because we all hail from different areas, were raised with different rules, and we are of different eras. One thing remained; we were there for the company and the employees. Our group kept in mind the fact that without the customer we would not have a job and that the products and leasing office needs to be happy as well. We listened to each others reasons for the decisions that were chosen, stated our own, and came to an understanding about what to do in the future, should the situation ever arise....
