Plan Comparison 2 I am still a 42 year old female that had never worried about weight issues until the birth of her third child. I have since lost some weight with the changes I have made in my diet and exercise program. I do not drink soda or consume large amounts of alcohol, so that part still has not changed. As for my chocolate intake, that too has not changed. I do not crave it as often, but when I do, I limit the amount to one square. My water intake has increased and my coffee and tea has decreased. This is the biggest change I have made in my diet. Other changes include cooking at home, eating foods that do not come from a can, and making foods from scratch. I am finding that when I cook, I become calmer and more aware of what is in my foods. It is this awareness that has opened my eyes to the preservatives in canned foods. As for the exercise, that has increased as well. I walk the dog more, find that I have a great deal more energy, and tend to take the long way around when I get papers from the printer at work. I park further away from the doors when I shop and meditate more at home. I have found my center and have been able to grow from there. Now let us focus on my personal diet and its problem areas. I am more aware of the things I eat; reading the labels have become second nature and cooking at home is the
