Healthy Eating 2 My Current Eating Habits I am a 42 year old female that had never worried about weight issues until the birth of her third child. After that time, I was in a few life threatening accidents that left me with limited mobility and an “I do not care” attitude. In the past three years I have gained a better attitude, more mobility, and have become concerned with my weight issues. I am currently at 221 pounds and am 63 inches tall. When I was a teen, I was underweight and could eat anything I wanted. Now I am considered obese and have to watch everything I do and eat. I do get depressed at times over my weight, but know that it is something that can be fixed. I come from a long line of obese women and thought I would not be one, I was wrong. I do not think that I am an embarrassment to my husband or children, but I believe they will be happier when I am happier. That will only happen when I become healthier. I do not drink soda or consume large amounts of alcohol. I do eat a very minimal amount of chocolate, but only when I crave it and only one square. I do not eat chips or snack on foods that may be unhealthy. My main snack foods are popcorn, pretzels, or fruit and vegetables. I eat cereal for breakfast, have a healthy choice meal for lunch, and a home cooked meal for dinner. I do not eat after 7 pm and go to bed by 10 pm as I get up at 4 or 5 am. I do drink coffee and tea and believe it is my week spot. Although I enjoy coffee and tea, I do not have to drink it on a daily basis. I do try to drink water every day, but probably do not drink enough. I also do not exercise enough and I realize that this will have to change.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
