I live in a suburb of Dallas, and, although this is not a major metropolitan city, Waxahachie is a city that is always on the move. Because of this constant traffic, I believe that the biggest environmental problem, that faces my town, is the waste of gas and oil. People are always going somewhere instead of staying at home and relaxing. I will be the first to admit, I am just as guilty as everyone else. I spend an increased amount of time at the gas pump refilling my car. When I look back at the things I did, and the places I went, on that tank of gas, I realized I just threw that

These causes are human related. When we go out and drive off in our car for really no true purpose, we are only destroyed a natural resource that will one day run dry. Me and all the other people of Waxahachie, Texas, are not concerned with the environment. At that moment we are only thinking of what will please us, and it does not matter if we are causing damage in the process....
