This interview was conducted on my husband who is six months younger than me. He is a 28 year old male with two children. His name is Robert Hoyt and is a small engine repair mechanic. He was asked prior to being interviewed if I had his permission to share my findings and his answers with my class, as well as my professor. I explained to my husband that I needed to conduct an interview for my final project and he volunteered to be the interviewee. I am a 29 year old female. Robert and I grew up together in the same town and went to the same school. We were raised completely differently with me having both of my parents in the home and his parents being divorced by age six. You will be able to see later how this affected both of our answers to the questions asked. Robert and I answered a series of eleven questions and also took the Carl Jung personality test. The following are the questions asked, the results of the personality test and a comparison of our answers and results. 1. Would you describe yourself as Introverted or Extroverted, and why? Robert explained that he feels he is a very social person and is very interested in meeting other people. As a child he felt like a loner and was very introverted because he was harboring feels of resentment toward his parents. After while he became lonely and did not want to share relationships with his family and in return he tried to meet as many new people as he could. The cause was his parents’ divorce and effect was the behavior of extroversion. I am an introverted and extroverted person. Though I am very emotional, and was raised by parents who not only held positions that required constant socializing but were just over all social people; I like people but have had events in my life that have caused me to

be somewhat depressed. I was diagnosed with cancer shortly after our second child was born. It was a tough battle and I am still having after effects because I am fearful of the outdoors and other people. 2. Are you more of a thinker or a feeler, and why? Robert stated he was a little bit of both.
