Job Redesign Paper 2 Job Redesign Paper This paper will discuss the job redesign of the service tech trainer at Spirit Manufacturing. This paper will also discuss the major components, tasks, and responsibilities of the service tech trainer position. The paper will also discuss the responsibility of this position concerning the coordination of working relations and the communication to the employees. Some safety issues of the working environment will also be discussed. The service tech trainer has the responsibility to coordinate and facilitate the resources that are required to enable the service techs to meet their requirements in customer satisfaction. The service tech trainer also has the responsibility to ensure that the employees have a positive working environment by adhering to the company ethics, and values. The service tech trainer has the responsibility of ensuring that all of the service techs know and understand the objectives and the policies to ensure the success of the company. The service tech trainer also has the responsibility to communicate with the employees and hold their self and the employees accountable for their job performance. This position requires that the individual is able to self manage, having the ability to make decisions for the service techs while adhering to the policies of the company. This individual is also able to make decisions regarding what employee will be responsible for certain task within the department. A big factor that is very important in this position is intrinsic motivation. Having the ability to be able to motivate the department to perform well is a good motivator. To have a successful job redesign, there must be support that comes from the management team, and other employees to have the ability to provide the correct training, enforce the company policies, and to provide feedback to the service tech trainer.
