Envision Engineering Faculty of Built Environment and Engineering Queensland University of Technology Dear Mr. Smith, Re: Site Survey (Samford) Thank you for allowing Envision Engineering to conduct a site survey report on the proposed redevelopment of the Samford site. Attached is the site survey for the Samford Site , in which Envision Engineering details our thorough analysis of the site, along with documentation and justification. The main focus was to outline main constraints and advantages this site offers. Important considerations for the design included transport, water infrastructure, site planning and environmental considerations. To account for the unique requirements of the site (such as the 75% foliage cover) this site survey has strong emphasis on the constraining aspects of the development. Our site survey allows the developer to clearly see the many factors hindering the development, as well as the advantages this site brings. We hope that this site survey be included in future considerations regarding the development of the Samford Site. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding the report. Yours sincerely, Envision Engineering. 2

This report is merely a presentation of the findings of the site and is intended to be a guide for future development. The report contains detailed information concerning the site with features such as: plans clearly showing important features of the site, a systematic analysis of the site amongst other things. During this process, a number of things were identified such as: the environmental outcomes/ values for the site as identified by local planning policy; the major constraints on site development and how to address these constraints, the proposed site’s potential and how these can benefit the development, aspects of the surrounding suburban areas that could have a significant effect on the nature of the development, consideration of the potential for sustainable transport options and existing land classification issues and possible changes (if feasible) amongst other planning issues. The report has been written in a manner that takes into account the four main sub-divisions: Transport, Land Planning, Water and Wastewater Management and an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
