This classification is a result of the use of the information which is gathered from inside the organization and generated for internal use. Managers use this information for various management decisions. For instance, RFID tags are used to track the movement of goods, inventory receipt and sale of products. The information is used internally to improve upon cost saving mechanisms and prevent theft. B) The internal report was most likely used to support organizational strategies. The information could be used to create a customer profile (age, race, income level etc) and track sales activity form lead to close. Information about marketing, sales and customer service could also be obtained from the in-store research. The primary goal of organizational strategy is the creation of value in the eyes of the customer, building and maintaining a strong position in the marketplace and envisioning a future for the business. Information from the research can be used to support an organization’s strategy goal. C) Arguments for the research: Collection of data as it relates to customers profile and buying habits.
