BCS 1050 David Paz Thursday 7pm class Project#2 The Meatrix 1. Factory farming is when corporations raise animals in factories so that they can be bread and mass produced so that these companies can be more profitable. In these factories animals are packed close to each other so that more can fit in an allocated space and really don’t get to interact with the outside world and are mistreated and abused in some factories most of these animals also are really not given enough space to move. In the factories they are given antibiotics that keep them from getting sick, due to the terrible conditions that the factories are kept in. 2. An argument that I can come up with about the whole Factory farming concept is that with the increasing population in our country how else would we be able to produce as much food as is necessary for the lifestyle that we live. I believe that we have become too greedy and live way beyond our need animals shouldn’t have to be grown in factories if everyone could just live a
