Strong profit growth The revenues are increasing sharply from year 2004 to 2008. The company reported revenues of (Ringgit) MYR 1,198.78 million during the fiscal year ended December 2008, an increase of 16.25% over 2007. The operating profit of the company was MYR 87.70 million during the fiscal year 2008, an increase of 22.41% over 2007. The net profit of the company was MYR 57.97 million during the fiscal year 2008, an increase of 24.43% over 2007. 2. Economies of scale through experience curve and technology pioneering MFM incorporated in 1961, is a pioneer in the flour industry in Malaysia. Its two flourmills located at Lumut, Perak and Pasir Gudang, Johor are the most modern in Malaysia, with the installed capacity of the mills at Lumut and Pasir Gudang at 850 and 410 metric tons per day respectively. Hence, it enjoys economies of scale through 40 years of experience in flour
