Development of Training and Mentoring Program 2 Development of Training and Mentoring Program When it comes to developing a strong training and mentoring program Interclean has done a great deal of research on how important both of these important tools can truly work if introduced into the company. According to (Irons, R. K, 2007) trained and energized employees are just what Interclean needs in order to stimulate growth. “The innovation, flexibility and dedication that are necessary to build dynamic companies comes well-trained and supported employees.” Another important part of the new- hire process would be selecting employees who can show the new-hires what needs to be done in order to succeed at Interclean. A Mentor according to (Jenkins, Maureen 2005) allows access to information that may not otherwise be available to employees. Another word mentors can show can show employees the ropes and those that are tangible and intangible (Jenkins, Maureen 2005). These are reasons why Interclean want to develop training and mentoring program. This will insure that Interclean has top-notch employees in their company for the nature of our business. Interclean is making it number one goal to offer their employees the up most training and mentoring program to not only insure the companies well being, but the well being of each employee of their Interclean. This paper we will discuss 9 ways in proving and excellent training and mentoring program. The new training and mentoring needs Since the merge the sales team has done a great deal of work in order to prepare for new employees and choosing the mentoring needs of each new employee being hired. It is important that the team be educated with the necessary tools required and should be prepared for the challenge we have set forth. The new sales team will consist of members from InterClean, and members from the EnviroTech and in order for each of the members to get to the same page we

Development of Training and Mentoring Program 3 are going to need effective training in order for us to learn basically all over again, this will alleviate any confusion since each company before the merge may have had different learning’s. The current sales team is made up of three members from the EnviroTech, who all have superior and effective customer service skills with some minor sales experience. They are used to creating relationships with the customers and are knowledgeable in customer service skills. Even though these employees can provide excellent customer appreciation, they could also use
