CS 130 Kevin Deggelman Homework 1 April 4, 2009 Google groups meets Facebook groups Description of problem These days, just about every college student across the country has a facebook account. There are hundreds of student groups on college campuses ranging from ethnic groups, sports clubs, and fraternities and sororities. All of these groups need a quick and easy way to mass-communicate within the group. There are a few options out there like google groups, which allows emails to be sent to all members of the group, and facebook groups that can send facebook messages to all members of the group. The problem is this: email list serves are nice, but college student groups need more features beyond the ability to send mass emails. Customer The customer would be any facebook user that is also involved in student groups. As for a specific customer that we can build and demo the project for, the President of the Sigma Chi fraternity has expressed interest in this project. The application would be available for any group, not just college students. The
