Unformatted text preview: SYPHILIS SYPHILIS GROUP 5 GROUP 5 CASE STUDY #2 • A college student came into the clinic presenting with lesions around his genital area. This lesion was firm and painless. He was asked if he was sexually active and he said yes but not in the last 60 days. When asked who he had been with 2 months ago he said it was just a girl at a party and he did not use protection. An RPR test identified that he was infected with the spirochete bacteria.
