Doyle and Cheng February 14, 2010 Instructions: This assignment will be submitted in two parts. Part 1 is the design review portion and will be submitted online as a report. Part 2 is the software modeling and SolidEdge engineering drawings with an individual / group assessment in laboratory. The project will be submitted through ELM. Only typed reports will be accepted. Forming the Group: Groups must have three members, unless a lab section enrolment is not evenly divisible by 3. In the case where a lab section enrolment cannot be evenly divisible by three, then two-member groups are permitted. Group member names must be submitted to your lab TA by the end of your assigned lab in Week 5. Each group must obtain a unique 4 digit code for identification. Ask your TA for this if you do not have it. Any student not in a group of three will be assigned by the TA. TAs may reassign students to make appropriate sized groups. Submission Information Part 1: Part 1 will be submitted in Week 7 as a typed report via ELM. Submission with your group number, member names, and student numbers typed on the cover is an acceptance and understanding of the academic integrity policy. A late assignment or an assignment with an incomplete cover page will not be accepted and it will be assigned an automatic 0. Only one assignment should be submitter per group. The report must be submitted in the PDF file format. Submission Information Part 2: Part 2 report and SolidEdge modelling will be submitted via ELM.
