Jorge Washington: Why hello there my friend, we meet yet again. There have been so many questions I have been meaning to talk to you about lately and so many topics to discuss. We must catch up on things when you get the chance. Sincerely and yours truly, Georgy Benjamin Franklin Hello old chap, what are your thoughts on the slave trade? Do you believe that the constitutional convention solved the problem for the slave trade or just procrastinated it? As the president of Pennsylvania's Antislavery Society I wish we could have solved the slave problem more efficiently. Jorge Washington I believe that slavery will become a problem in the future, and although being a slave holder myself, I do believe that the slaves are humans too. The problem however is too tense at this time for us to decide the future of slavery. Creating a law that would allow or ban slavery would cause a complete division among the states, the government, and the country. Until we can come to a fair agreement among both the pro and anti slavery parties, slavery and the slave
