Unformatted text preview: In 2002, Café De Coral invested in one of its largest IT initiative, a business management system (BMS) project costing the group $HK65 million. The BMS project was huge in terms of scope and coverage, bringing together several global IT leaders such as IBM, Automated Systems Holdings Limited, Oracle Systems Limited, Seito Systems Limited, Tech-Trans-System Limited and others to cooperatively design, integrate and install a web-based, multi-tiers platform for the Group. Following the completion of the BMS project, industry magazine has honored Café De Coral Group with having the most effective and efficient operation and information management system there is to be in the food and beverage industry. In the local front, a “MOS” system was rolled out to the entire chains of Café de Coral and Super Super Congee & Noodles in Hong Kong. This MOS system aims to shorten our response time to customer’s order by displaying order details and sequence at the back-kitchen of our stores, thereby ensuring our customers are timely served. Café de Coral leads in both consumer and business trends Café de Coral is both an innovator and leader within the foodservice industry in Hong Kong.
