PSYC 360 Exam 3 study questions 1. Give an example (it can be made up or real, but it cannot be the PKU-retardation example) of how a heritability score may change over time. 2. If almost everybody has the same genes for a trait, the heritability score will be very low. Why? Does this mean that the trait in question is not very affected by genes? Why? 3. Give several examples of what could happen such that a person’s phenotype for a trait fails to match her/his genotype for that trait. 4. Does the fact that some psychopathologies are quite heritable mean that those pathologies are best treated by drugs, rather than by non-drug treatments? Why? 5.
