Teach for America (TFA) is a non-profit organization with the mission of  eliminating educational discrimination and training the recent college grads as the  nation’s future leaders. TFA was first founded by Windy Kopp when she was working on  her senior thesis at Princeton University in 1989. Since then TFA has enjoyed a colossal  increase pool of applicants, a positive recognition from the media, and more importantly  a strong support from the US government. TFA network consist of 24,000 individuals,  and 7,300 teachers in 35 urban and rural areas.  TFA is a two year commitment where recent college grads are recruited to teach  in public schools in low-income communities. The TFA members (also called Corps  member) will go through a five-week summer training program, which consist of  teaching, observation and feedback, rehearsal sessions, lesson planning clinics,
