PCH International, the Solution for Global Supply Chain Challenges in developing and managing Global Supply Chain Many companies search for a cheaper alternative in manufacturing and developing their products. As the increasing number of skilled workers whose are willing to work for a much lower cost (1), most company chose to outsource their product manufacturing in developing countries in Asia. While developing and managing global supply chain, companies often faces challenges in three flows of the supply chain (2). Maintaining the right inventory level and gathering background information about the factory for manufacturing can be challenge as the flow of information. On flow of products, companies face challenges on finding the right factory for manufacturing, high cost to hold inventory, hard to forecast the production volume, and high shipping cost.
