Experiment #5- Binary Baseband Simulation 3.0 RESULTS AND DISCUSSION Using SystemView, we modified the previous system from experiment 4 by adding a subsystem to regulate the signal energy such that we have a constant energy per bit of one. We also added the gain token #35 to vary the thermal noise, relative to the signal energy. This new system is shown in Figure 4. After calibrating the system we set the noise token to 1W/Hz and ran the sets of points: {0, -1, -2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -7, -8}, as seen in Figure 5. Figure 6 shows the resulting BER and Figure 5 shows the ideal BER. Figure 4.
