What is the importance of the system safety function to an organization? This ensures that all risks have been determined and those that are undesirable have been eliminated. 3. What are the differences between system safety and industrial safety? System Safety concept calls for a risk management based on identification, analysis of hazards and application of remedial controls using a systems-based approach.
