Scott1 Whitney Scott Shaheen English 1123 November 22, 2009 Compare and contrast Advertisements: In contrast of two advertisements of body lotion, the manufactures both answer questions based on target markets, assessing customer needs, design of ads, product differentiation and marketing strategies. Moreover the two body lotion advertisements have superficial similarities; and they both reveal considerable differences between terms of appeal and target audience. However in the first advertisement I found was for Aveeno lotion, they use words like,” Discover a new future for your skin a future that’s healthy and radiant.” To target their audience, they used a picture of a woman with smooth beautiful skin to be the spokesperson for them. The picture was a medium shot natural and it makes the viewer feel included in the scene, also it makes the viewer believe that if they purchase Aveeno lotion, their skin will look like the person’s skin in the advertisement. The target audience would be people that want clear,
