Operation Principles ± During the initial cycle, counter is reset to 0. ± Analog input is put into sample-hold circuit where the output is fed into the comparator. utput from the comparator will become “1” ± Output from the comparator will become 1 logic or “0” depending on the comparison between the 2 inputs. ounter will count upwards until the output ± Counter will count upwards until the output from the comparator becomes “0” logic where the counter will stop counting.
