Sociology 200 spring 2010 Optional Extra Credit Assignment For those of you who are interested in adding extra points (1-5), to your lowest test grade , the following creative extra credit opportunity is available: Please write 3-4 double-spaced, typed pages on either of the following options. The work must be received in class, on the last day and will not be accepted if sent electronically or late. Please save a copy of your work. Option 1) We have spent much time in class (and in readings) trying to understand the complexity of the US health care system. The film “John Q,” among many of its other features, takes many jabs at the inequity of the health care industry and puts the problems squarely on the institution of medicine itself.
