I have never been much of a healthy eater, partly because I am extremely picky and partly because of shear laziness. I usually just stick to foods that I know taste good or that I am comfortable with. Keeping that in mind, I already knew before beginning this course that my diet could use some work. What I was unaware of was just how much. As I found out from the Food Diary Checkpoint earlier this week, every area of my diet has room to be improved upon. I already knew that I consume too many foods that are deep fried and that I rarely ate fruits or vegetables. For help developing a healthy eating plan that I feel I can stick to I went to a website called dietitian.com. From this site I have developed a one day menu that should help me to meet my recommendations from the My Pyramid. Since I tend to snack a lot my menu plan includes three daily meals as well as three daily snacks. Using this meal plan my breakfast would consist of four ounces of apple juice, one and a
