bio lect 35 island bio geography - herbivore- real range of what they feed on. some are very specific. monophagous - they only feed on one plant - evolved to use that secondary compound to help them and become a big part on their diet. They evolved to use it. like some ancestor- plant that deters feeding. organism - maybe can find teh secondary compound. this is called co-evolution. they are reciprocally forming eachother's evolution.
