The author brings up some very important points about the consequences of attend college in America. She discusses the differences of the degrees effect the average earnings. She gives the idea of $588 that paid a person every hour of class he attended. The 2004 Bureau of the Census shows the differences income between high school graduate and college graduate. This is the reason for many students enter college with the expectation of earning a high-paying job. The number of earning a million dollar shows the high education you have, you will able to earn more money in the future. It means the earning a college degree will guarantee that graduates find well paying jobs with opportunities for promotion, and benefits such as health care.
