Amazon is an online retail that has revolutionized the way that most people shop. Amazon offers free two-day shipping, music, movie titles, and grocery delivery for its subscribers. The company has offered millions of different items at competitive pricing. Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking (Amazon, 2019). Amazon is improving the impact they have on the environment by using eco-friendlier packaging as well as researching greener methods for the delivering packages. Amazon has a few direct competitors, but they do not compete through the broad spectrum that Amazon offers to its customers.
