Steven Lee Wai September 16, 2009 Composition # 3 The First Time I Work The first time I worked for money in America was in 2007, I live in Manhattan with my family .My father is not live with us, because he works and lives in Long Island. He is a social worker and busy with his job, so I and my mother understand him. He works so tries for everyday, I met my father every weekend, and we go out for dinner almost every week. I went to finding a job so can help my family pay rent bill. I told my parents I could make money myself, so they don’t need to give a lot of money to me. I understand this is not a lot of many that I can make. However, I try to do my best. I chose to work in a Japanese restaurant; my friend told me it’s easy to find a job in there. Therefore, the first job I’m interview was a Sushi assistant at Upper West Side. That’s a job I found in a newspaper. They were looking for person who can speak Japanese. No experience was still all right. It wouldn’t be difficult to me because I know the language.
