Romandia 1 Daniel Alan Romandia Moreno WRT101 04/22/2010 Essay 2 Shredding stereotypes People view me as a deviant being or a rebel who does not care about stuff. I am what society calls a shredder. Extreme sports are viewed as a rebel or crazy new sports that lead to terrible accidents, broken bones or even death. Society has been against this new genre since the dawn of these new sports. Rebeldy and separation was the main view of these new kinds of sports, breaking laws and not following the rules. Some of these sports where against society laws like skating, BMX and roller blades related as old motocross racers witnessed how a few pro's separated from the racing category into a new one they called freestyle, and some were not happy they did not follow rules and customs. Society has always been strict and is still used to old customs where new stuff would be bad. When those new sports where born, the creators would normally be rebels who would rise against old customs to create what we now call Extreme sports. Typical extreme athletes would
