Economics 181, Spring 2010 International Trade Instructor: Professor David Roland-Holst GSIs: Pedro Castro, Romem Israel, Lemin Wu Tuesday and Thursday, 3:30-5pm, 100 Lewis Course Website address: bspace This is a four-unit course with three hours of lecture and one hour of discussion per week. You must sign up in one section during the first week of class to remain in the class. Attendance in that discussion section is mandatory. Neither the instructor nor the GSIs have the power to get you registered in the class. Textbook and Study Guide Paul Krugman and Maurice Obstfeld (KO), International Economics: Theory and Policy, Addison-Wesley, Seventh Edition or later. Although only the textbook is required, the study guide is recommended. The Study Guide, written by Linda Goldberg and Michael Klein, contains sample problems for each chapter and is quite useful as a guide for exams. Although the study guide was written to accompany an earlier version of KO, it is still very useful. Course Description
