3 Computer Programming I TA C162 06/02/07 General format of Load/Store Instructions-1 opcode DR or SR  Address Gen bits Data movement instructions requires two operands Source and Destination One location is register and second is memory Bits [11:9] specify register For load DR refers to the destination register For Store SR refers to the register that contains the value that will be written to the memory
