Professional Standards 2 Professional Standards Introduction There are several different standards for the internet; some of these standards include: web design and applications, architecture, services, and devices. Each aspect is important in their own way. During this paper I will give a brief description of why. Web Standards The standards of the World Wide Web mean that a developer has followed all guidelines set by W3C. These standards are set to ensure that each area of the web page is up to standard. Many people like a web site that is easy to read and does not take forever to load. A very large part of the W3C standard is with the CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. It is important to ensure that each area of the web page follows the standards. If they do not then the viewer or end-user will have a difficult time trying to use the page. Graphics also play a part in web design. If the graphics are too big then they will not load
