You can group people by their race, origin, religion, anything that you can factually prove. Stereotyping is assigning characteristics to a group that may or may not be true. For Instance, one can say, “woman can't drive" or, “That race of people are stupid" is stereotyping, because it is a generalizing statement that can't be proven. When I was a freshman in High School, I was called to the office for something I did. He told me that people like me have no business around the good students in this school and that he was going to make it his mission to get rid of the slime in his school.
