MEMOIR 2World War I memoirGermany got involved in the first world war in August 1914, after professing battle on Russia. According to its plan for battle, it overlooked Russia and went first, contrary to France, announcing warfare on August 3 and distributing its chief soldiers over Belgium to fight Paris from the north. The German attack of Belgium made Britain announce battle on Germany on August 4 (Cook & Stevenson, 2005). The majority of the key nations were now in the fighting. In October 1914, Turkey united in warfare as an ally of Germany and was part of the Central Influences. Italy, being akin to Austria-Hungary and Germany before the first world war, was nonaligned in 1914 prior to swapping to the akin side in May 1915 (Mulligan, 2011).The battle was reported in an inappropriate manner. The catalog of journalist misconduct is a matter that is documented. Journalists were willing to publish propaganda as the truth to clearly tame the acceptance of restriction and the disappointment to hold power as accountable. However, an extensive denunciation of the press reporting is not just since broadcasters like before were prohibited from enlightening the citizens by three powerful authorities, which were their own proprietors, the military, and the government. It is irrefutable that the media started by painting a bad image of Germany. They issued untrue stories about German cruelty, which people accepted as the truth.
