Create a consistent “look and feel” Don’t use jacked up colors for your PowerPoint Keep it simple and the same…Coca Cola PowerPoint’s has two main tools that help you achieve a consistent look and feel for  your presentation… design templates and the slide master   PowerPoint design templates Pick something that you want your image to foretell…don’t pick black when your talking  about the sun PowerPoint Slide Master The slide master enables you to change the font once and have it applied to all of the  slides in your file, to place a header at the same location on every slide, to add page  numbers to all your slides, or to change your bullet styles. Design for High Contrast Be aware that your going to display your presentation on a LCD projection system So, you should be aware of two issues…Color Combinations and Gradients  Color Combinations Make your projection slides in high contrast…meaning Black on White or Tan on  Black Notice that the low contrast examples are very difficult to see…grey on black Basically, use light colored texts on dark backgrounds and vice versa. However, some combinations may seem nice on your personal computer but it could  possibly look like shit on the LCD…therefore, make sure you test it out. Color Gradients Color gradients are several shades of one color or several different colors appear on one  slide. Dangerous  because they may appear high contrast on some slides and low on another
