CQUAY Technologies Corp. C-8 Case background: April 2003, Stockholders and members of the board gave Calvin McElory the task of shape the company into an acquisition target over a period of time. Calvin McElory felt that the company would lose the customer growth if he followed the plan. In following the plan there were no further contacts and there was only enough cash to sustain the company for six to eight months His solution was to sell the company, which he presented his plan to the board of directors.
