Project 2 KEY You will be graded on three basic levels: ability to use MINITAB, statistical written explanation, and proper use of English. A researcher believes that as age increases the grip strength (in pounds per square inch) of an individual’s dominant hand decreases. From a random sample of 17 females, the researcher obtains the following data: Age Grip Strength 15 65 16 60 28 58 61 60 53 46 43 66 16 56 25 75 28 46 34 45 37 58 41 70 43 73 49 45 53 60 61 56 68 30 Use MINITAB to generate a scatter plot, to estimate correlation, simple linear regression equation, compute the coefficient of determination in terms of percentage, and analyze the residuals. In the explanation include the proper interpretation in the context of the data of estimated slope, estimated y-intercept, estimated correlation coefficient, estimated coefficient of determination, the estimated regression equation. Using the necessary MINITAB analyses answer the question: Is the model appropriate? Why?
