Project 13 Project Thirteen__________ Chapter 13/20 points A MINITAB output is required for this exercise. One of the selling points of golf balls is their durability. An independent testing laboratory is commissioned to compare the durability of three different brands of golf balls (brands A, B, C). Balls of each type will be put into a machine that hits the balls with the same force that a golfer does on the course. The number of hits required until the outer covering is cracked is recorded for each ball. Ten balls from each manufacturer are randomly selected for testing. The results are: A B C 310 261 233 235 219 289 279 263 301 306 247 264 237 288 273 284 197 208 259 207 245 273 221 271 219 244 298 301 228 276 Is there evidence that the mean durability of the three brands differ, α = .05? Complete MINITAB Analysis. KEY Null: The three treatment (factor ) means are the same (mean number of hits until the outer covering is cracked is the same for the three brands –A,B,C.
