PIC 10C Midterm Exam Review Questions The exam will consist of a written part and a programming part. The written part will focus on the C++ topics we covered in the first 2 weeks: inheritance, polymorphism, and the STL. The programming part will ask you to demonstrate your proficiency with C# by asking you to build a small windows application. The exam will take place in the PIC Lab and is open notes and open book. WRITTEN PART 1.) Suppose we have a base class A and a derived class B. Describe how to store both objects of class A and B in a single queue container in C++. 2.) Why is a priority queue not really a queue? 3.) What is a virtual function? Give an example of its usage in the Employee and Manager classes you built for HW2. 4.) Explain how to set up a multi-key hash table using the STL containers, like you did in HW1. 5.) Write a single line of code that uses the STL containers and algorithms to perform the following operations. a.)
