Often the learning organizations tend to follow conceptsthat promote dynamic economic environments competition. Around the globe, the leadercontinues to focus on developing learning organizations that encourage effectiveness as wellas possess a continuously evolving process. Majorly learning organizations tend to bedependent on effective communication which is a key element of leadership influence.Additionally, to be able to develop a continuous evolution process the learning organizationrequire to acquire ideas and perspectives from different people, to be able to change and growin response to the anticipated and existing external pressure(Alqahtani, 2019). The differentperspectives tend to generate from the diverse human experiences and leaders recognize theseas vital resources to promote the ability of the organization to learn, facilitate innovation andmanage change. Thus, diversity and leadership play a crucial role in ensuring that learningorganizations are effective and can attain their set goals. As Audre Lorde states “in our workand our learning, we must recognize that diversity is a reason for celebration and growthrather than a reason for destruction.”Importance of Diversity and LeadershipDiversityDiversity is represented in various forms such as gender, culture, religion, sexualorientation, race, socioeconomic background, age among other related components.Generally, diversity focuses mainly on empowering people through the capitalization of theunique strengths of each member of the organization(Deepak & Perwez). Also, the diversitymay be described as an ability to understand, value and difference in every person in the

Diversity is essential in the learning organization because it promotes inclusion fromdifferent racial, cultural and ethnic groups hence enabling each person to learn from oneanother as well as understand each other. Additionally, diversity in the learning organizationenables people to understand the various perspective approaches in the world and also it aidspeople to dispel negative stereotypes and individual biases regarding different social groups.Diversity also aids the human race to be able to recognize as well as respect the “ways ofbeing” which are from other cultures(Holm, 2018). Understanding these differences enablesthe human race to build bridges of respect, trust, and cultural difference embracement.
