Workplace writing needs to fit the context of your broader interaction with clients and colleagues. Plan your documents to convey your message clearly in terms that represent the readers interests. Documents that are clear and complete will be well received by readers and establish your professional credibility. Trust your instincts; if you have doubts about the draft of a document take the time to edit. (Word processing has a clear advantage in assisting with editing and efficiently enabling you to rewrite documents.) Be vigilant in maintaining high ethical standards in all written and verbal business communication; every employee is the face of the company.
