GOREE BMGT-2700 SECTION-002 03/17/2010 CHAPTER SIX JOURNAL ASSIGNMENT Stereotypical mascots and Native American respect Most of the written historical record about Native Americans began with European contact. When the Europeans arrived to defeat the land of Indians, they brought technology with them. The Native Americans were not technologically advanced. They had all they needed to meet their needs. They also had a great respect for the land. Native American had only one weapon which is made and used for hunting. When European settlers waged war against the Native Americans, most of know that was injustice to them not just because the wars were unfair because people who live in a land and respect others who want to come and go from the land should have the power once had. They should control their destiny on their land. Still Native Americans suffer in the different aspect of their life. Native people never stopped fighting and still have to fight for self
