Jorge Ruz-Mora jruzmora@fau.edu 954-495-4855 Z#:23042616 Dr. James Jakubow 3 November 2009 Article: No Evidence for Temporal Decay in Working Memory Authors: Stephan Lewandowsky (University of Western Australia) and Klaus Oberauer (Universita¨t Zu¨rich) Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition 2009, Vol. 35, No. 6, 1545–1551 Introduction This experiment was performed to see what causes the decay of memory in working memory.  Also the experimenters wanted to see what happens when someone has an error. The  experimenters based their experiment on an experiment created by  Portrat et al. (2008), all  they did was focus their experiment on sensing the post-error processing.  They wanted to see if  they could find something to prove a loss of memory cause by someone doing two tasks at the  same time or having a mistake.
