Jorge Ruz-Mora Jill Bergkamp ENC 1102-009 12 January 2010 Response Assignment –Taylor Diana Taylor uses the term ghosting to express how Princess Diana's spirit was still with the people, haunting them even after her death. The author utilizes this term and synonyms of this term in a variety of occasions all throughout the story. The ghost of Diana stays alive because of the image that was portrayed during her whole life and specially during her funeral. The ghost was allowed to stay because all the people that were mourning for her wanted it to happen, the ghost stayed because of all the murals, web sites, and all the media attention that was given to Princess Diana's death. The ghost has always been there in the imagination of people from all over the world. People might have not know Princess Diana very much but because of all the comments all over the media and the Internet, because of the way that her death was presented; people from all over the world cried at her funeral. Her ghost became a reality with all the publicity that she gained
