Such ethics may include that the only thing that should drive us to use genetic engineering is compassion, not to gain a profit. Also, we should take into account all of the consequences that can affect the whole human population. Most importantly, we should always keep in mind that we are all the same, no matter race, ethnicity, sex, religion, we should always see all human beings as the same. In addition anything we do has to be discussed by the masses, not only by small groups like politicians, the rich, or scientists.
