Abstract The objective of the experiment is to gain some knowledge of soldering by assembling a kit composed of electronic components that needed to be soldered to a printed circuit board. For the kit to work properly it needed to be assembled according to the manual that was provided with the kit. At first the kit did not work correctly, but after reheating all the solder points it worked similar to what was expressed in the manual that was provided with the kit. Results consist of: After soldering all the components to the printed circuit board a 9 volt battery was used to test the kit. Using the 9 volt battery to power the kit the two LED lights turned on and off at the same time that the speaker made a wailing sound similar to the siren of an emergency vehicle. These results were in correspondence with the expected results expressed in the manual and with what the instructor said. The significance of this lab is the experience gained on
