Please consult with your TA for his office hours. Textbook: Advanced Engineering Mathematics by Erwin Kreyszig, 9 th Edition. I will strive to have class notes for each sessions ready on D2L before class, each session. Content: We will sample materials from Chapters 13: Complex Numbers Chapters 7, 8: Linear Algebra Chapters 1, 2 and 4: ODEs Chapter 5: Expansions and Eigenvalue Problems Chapter 11: Fourier Series, Fourier Intergrals Chapter 12: PDEs (the heat and wave equations) Chapter 6: Laplace Transforms Clickers: TurningPoint ResponseCard Radio Frequency (RF) keypads. Clickers are an essential tool of learning in our large classroom setting. Clicker extra points (up to a total of 50 points) are up for grabs, so make sure to your clickers available each day of class. Both the online version and the TurningPoint Response cards are REQUIRED.
